Oh, and I mustn't forget the charming surprise of ants in the kitchen. Delightful!

Ilheus 1 in Funchal was a delightful accommodation. the apartment was surprisingly spacious and clean. the beds were large and comfortable, and the addition of a washing machine was a nice touch. the location was central, with easy access to Santa Catarina Park, the ferry port, and the city center. the owner, Jose, was incredibly helpful and kind, providing assistance with arranging transportation and promptly addressing any issues. the highlight was the beautiful and peaceful terrace, perfect for enjoying the sunshine. I highly recommend Ilheus 1 for a short stay in Funchal.

The size of the apartment was mind-blowing, one of the biggest I've ever seen! The cleanliness was superb and the beds were super comfortable. The washing machine was a nice surprise. Jose, our host, was incredibly nice and helpful. The location was jaw-droppingly good, close to parks, the ferry port, and the city center. Walking there with our luggage and children was a breeze. I highly recommend this place for a short stay. The kitchen could use some updating, but it had everything we needed. The organization provided a cab from the airport, which was very convenient. The location was perfect, quiet and not too far from the center. The terrace was absolutely stunning, and Susana, the host, was incredibly hospitable. She even helped us rent a car. The cleanliness and facilities were perfect, and the parking was a great bonus. And can I just say, the Madeira wine in the kitchen was fantastic! We hope to return to this amazing place. The location was fantastic, close to hotels, the harbor, and shops. The facilities were great, with comfortable beds and a cozy sofa. The kitchen had everything we needed. All in all, a super comfortable and enjoyable stay.

The hotel facilities were excellent, with a spacious apartment that had a large balcony where I could enjoy the sunshine all day long. Additionally, having a parking space was a great convenience, especially for exploring the city on my own. everything was perfect and I couldn't ask for more.
